My First South Visit

Image
Hey ya'll. This week I'm going to talk about my first visit to South. I came to the November USA Day in 2016 and after leaving, I knew this was where I wanted to be. Everyone that I met was so welcoming and I immediately saw myself going here and growing here. Our campus is so beautiful and there is so much to do. We have state-of-the-art buildings, as well as great majors. USA Day was kind of a blur because I saw so much that day, but I felt at peace with my choice to attend USA. Before I knew it, I was registering for orientation. If you're interested in South, I would highly recommend that you come to visit. This institution looks great on paper, but you can't really get the full effect of what it would be like to be a Jaguar until you visit. So come and visit us. I would love to see all of you. :)

Rest and Relaxation

Hello, all. It's Mikayla and I'm back with another blog topic for the week. Here at South, fall break is upon us. We're at the point of the year where everyone has been wanting a little break, but now we're finally getting it. I don't live too far from Mobile so I will be going home for fall break. I use this time to unplug(but not too much) from work and school. I spend time with my family and eat the foods I can't access easily at school. If you live to far to go home or you're from Mobile, I suggest going to the beach or finding something fun to do that you may not get to do often. I'm not saying don't do work if there is work to do, but don't let work be ALL you do. Professors will assign things over breaks sometimes so be aware of that as well. College life can be extremely stressful at times so take advantage of the breaks that we have to have some time for yourself. Just sit back and relax, because you are going to need that extra boost on
