Rest and Relaxation

Hello, all. It's Mikayla and I'm back with another blog topic for the week. Here at South, fall break is upon us. We're at the point of the year where everyone has been wanting a little break, but now we're finally getting it. I don't live too far from Mobile so I will be going home for fall break. I use this time to unplug(but not too much) from work and school. I spend time with my family and eat the foods I can't access easily at school. If you live to far to go home or you're from Mobile, I suggest going to the beach or finding something fun to do that you may not get to do often. I'm not saying don't do work if there is work to do, but don't let work be ALL you do. Professors will assign things over breaks sometimes so be aware of that as well. College life can be extremely stressful at times so take advantage of the breaks that we have to have some time for yourself. Just sit back and relax, because you are going to need that extra boost once you come back after midterms. I always find that after a break I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated once I come back. That is what's supposed to happen. If you come back from break still stressed, you didn't do it right. So if y'all have any questions for me, feel free to shoot me a message.
